What I have learned in the Class
Today I applying the KWL teaching method in my microteaching, i am very happy about that. And now i can realize and easily explain the different between Grafitti and KWL. Grafitti we should give time for the students to read or learnt first, but with KWL the reading time could be done in the middle of the teaching time—I like it. KWL give time for the students to interact with each other students and also give a personal time for reading and come again with interaction. I like this method. I also learned about concept Attainment—I got new name “Jerome Bruner” to make it simple, it is a learning about inductive; from the spesific to the details—I believe Dr. Prema will teach and gave an example for the next class, I can not wait to see..
What I like Improved
For KWL, I like to improve my hand writing, and I know, I need it not only for the KWL but also for any other occasion when a teacher should write something on a board. So I can help the students to easily grasp the points written on a board. I believe now, a good teacher should have a good hand writing, at least readable hand writing not like mine.—please correct me if i am wrong. I also want to actively go deeper with all the methods tought by Dr. Prema in the class. How nice this class….
